Obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN for short) is the medical specialty dedicated to the care of women and people of other genders assigned female at birth. At WHA, obstetrics and gynecology services are provided by OBGYN doctors, certified nurse-midwives, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Some practice the full spectrum of adolescent, adult, pregnancy and menopausal care and some have chosen to specialize in a particular area, such as gynecology or urogynecology. From locations in Portland, Oregon and the surrounding communities of Hillsboro, Newberg, Tualatin and Oregon City, WHA’s OBGYN providers are your partner in healthcare–and friend–for life.
