Dr. Basia Rajska is a board-certified OB/GYN physician and surgeon with Women's Healthcare Associates in Newberg, Oregon.
“I am energized by the stories and experiences of each person I care for. Sharing intimate moments, talking about hard things and helping my patients through challenges is one of the most rewarding parts of my practice. Connecting with people on a human level when they are at their most vulnerable and faced with some of the most important decisions of their lives is an honor and something I cherish.”
Providing personalized, evidence-based care is what drew Dr. Rajska to medicine and what continues to inspire her every day. She enjoys getting to know each person and understanding their values and priorities in order to work with them to find the best plan for optimal health. In addition to caring for women during pregnancy, childbirth and lactation, Dr. Rajska also provides preventative care, contraception management and helps her patients address gynecological issues, such as post-menopausal bleeding and abnormal pap smears. She provides adolescent care, addresses substance use during pregnancy and has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Rajska was born in Poland, grew up in Canada and moved to the United States as a teenager. She enjoys hiking and yoga. She is married with two children and a dog.
