Provider Bio

Michele Quinn, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN physician and surgeon at Women's Healthcare Associates in Oregon City, Oregon.

From the Provider

"I didn’t go straight from college to medical school to residency and I didn’t know until late in college that I had an interest in medicine. I worked a bunch of different jobs – some were good, some weren’t, my husband was in the military and went to war, I smoked and I quit (it wasn’t easy), my mom had breast cancer, I had a baby, life happened with its ups and downs. All of those experiences that make life messy make me a better doctor. I may not share the same experiences with a patient, but I can empathize with her and offer a sympathetic ear without judgement. For each patient, I ask myself: What can I do for her on her terms, to be a little healthier, to be happier, to worry less? What can I do to support her? Life is hard. The best part of my job is when I make a patient’s life easier."

Is there anything else you would like to share about your experience with your provider?

The person who inserted my IUD was absolutely amazing, she didn't sugarcoat how painful it was going to be and she gave me a lot of warning of when and where she was going to touch me. I really appreciated her for the way she handled this visit

Is there anything else you would like to share about your experience with your provider?

I appreciate that the doctor did the procedure in office immediately and I didn't have to schedule a second appointment. This is really important to me now as it's hard to get to appointments due to not having childcare.

Is there anything else you would like to share about your experience with your provider?

Dr. Quinn is very pragmatic and understands that patients need to make individual choices that work for them. She provides clear, down to earth treatment options, and explains the pros and cons. I always come away from appointments with her feeling more in control and less anxious about my concerns than when I walked in.

Is there anything else you would like to share about your experience with your provider?

I was very pleased with not only my positive experience with the reception team, but also with the consistently positive interactions I witnessed between the receptionists and other patients checking-in/out as I waited in the lobby. Dr. Quinn was absolutely wonderful! I had booked a procedure that it turned out was not required. She clearly presented my options without bias or pressure for me to make a certain decision. When I elected not to have the procedure, she offered to complete my Wellness exam (prior scheduled for a future date) so my trip wasn't wasted and I didn't have to come back. I was very pleased with Dr. Quinn because she was friendly, down to earth, respectful of my time, and genuinely concerned about my health and wellness.
