Provider Bio
Damon Warhus, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN physician and surgeon at Women's Healthcare Associates in Portland, Oregon.
From the Provider
“I want each person to leave feeling a sense of reassurance and improved wellbeing. Whether that means I’ve simply been able to ease their fears, to help them understand and better manage a chronic condition—or to help them finally solve a problem they’ve been dealing with for a long time—I want each person to feel like our time together has been valuable.”
About the Provider
Although he originally debated becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Warhus chose medical school and, eventually, OB/GYN for the variety and continuity it offered in being able to care for women throughout their lives. He enjoys helping each person understand their unique situation and options and appreciates being able to develop long-term relationships with patients and their families. His particular interests include minimally invasive surgery, including hysteroscopy and laparoscopic hysterectomy to treat or manage conditions such as abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain or endometriosis. He also has expertise in using ultrasound to diagnose and manage gynecological conditions and helps his colleagues do the same by serving as a designated gynecological ultrasound reader for WHA.
In addition to patient care, Dr. Warhus is currently serving as WHA’s president. In this role, he oversees the organization’s strategic planning efforts, helping to improve care and service to patients. He and his wife enjoy traveling to Disneyworld and Hawaii and spending time with their two teenage children.
