Therapist
Behavioral & Mental Health
Dr. Kimberley Dockery is a behavioral and mental health therapist with Women's Healthcare Associates in Tualatin and Newberg, Oregon
“I believe women are foundational in communities and helping them on their path to health and wellness can be transformational. My goal is to be truly present for each person; to me, that means listening well, connecting at a human and heart level, responding with compassion, and being mindful and reflective of those moments that create a shift in perspective.”
Always intrigued by people and relationships, Kimberley’s career path became clear when her grandfather was diagnosed with lung cancer and she realized the unmet need for emotional support among patients and families traversing stressful and potentially grave life events. She returned to school for her master’s and doctoral degrees and has dedicated her career to being a supportive presence for people as they experience challenges to their emotional and physical wellbeing. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Kimberley spent time in the Midwest before moving to Oregon to develop her practice in a region known for progressive healthcare.
Today, Kimberley is focused on helping women. She appreciates their rich and varied narratives and considers it an honor to walk alongside them as they navigate their own health and wellness through life circumstances and transitions, including infertility, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, parenting, menopause, relationships, gender identity and sexuality. Her approach is holistic, collaborative and solution-oriented. When she’s not working, she practices self-care through yoga, art, music, baking and following a plant-based lifestyle.
