Women’s Healthcare Associates, LLC (WHA) is pleased to announce the latest addition to our family: a new office in Hillsboro. We’re located at 7431 NW Evergreen Parkway near the intersection of Cornelius Pass Road and we couldn’t be more excited to serve our patients and this growing community from our new location.
Meet Our Team. Our integrated team includes physicians, nurse-midwives and nurse practitioners providing preventative healthcare, gynecology and obstetrics to the women of Hillsboro and the surrounding communities. On-call providers attend births at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, where our physicians also perform gynecological surgeries. Nurse Practitioner Nicki Rogers joins our team in July, and we will welcome an additional nurse-midwife, Paige Atkinson, toward the end of this year.

Introducing: Pathways Prenatal Care. Prenatal care for our low-risk obstetric patients will be provided through WHA’s own Pathways model, which combines traditional one-on-one visits with extended group appointments throughout a woman’s pregnancy. The extended appointments include the same elements of a one-on-one visit, but add a 60-minute group session dedicated topics like breastfeeding, family dynamics, fitness and nutrition, preparing for birth, infant care, and more. Women, together with their physician or nurse-midwife, choose which topics are best for them and can bring their support person to the visit. We have offered Pathways at our Peterkort campus since the beginning of 2014 and have found it provides us the opportunity to better prepare our patients for pregnancy and childbirth while enhancing their healthcare experience.
