Welcoming New Patients
Obstetrical care at WHA is led by our integrated team of OB/GYN physicians and certified nurse-midwives. Your provider and their team are here to provide information, support and advocacy for you and your decisions throughout pregnancy. Call us to schedule your first series of appointments as soon as you know you’re pregnant.
During pregnancy, your care may include:
- An initial educational visit with our medical staff to help you understand what to expect during your care our clinicians’ recommendations for having a healthy pregnancy.
- Financial estimates and staff available to answer your questions about billing and payments.
- Virtual and in-person clinician visits at intervals designed to provide the right care and information at the right time.
- Recommended and optional screening tests and exams.
- Referrals and recommendations for additional testing, consultation or care based on your pregnancy and needs.
- Care for you during labor and childbirth at one of six area hospitals.
- Postpartum care.

Call your health plan directly to verify participation, benefits and any referral requirements before scheduling.

- The insurances we are able to accept can change without warning. Contact your insurance company to verify your coverage and benefits.
- We are able to accept the Medicare Advantage Plans associated with these health plans, unless they are PFFS (Physician Fee for Service) plans.
- We cannot accept Kaiser or OHSU OHP plans (among other OHP plans outside the areas our offices serve).
