Kristen McCammon is a certified nurse-midwife with Women's Healthcare Associates in Oregon City, Oregon.

From the Provider

“I am thankful to have found a career where I am reminded every day of why I went into this profession. I get so much satisfaction from learning about my patients, hearing their stories, earning their trust and being able to help them navigate the joys and challenges of life’s many chapters.”

About the Provider

Kristen credits the passion of her grandmother and the encouragement of the OB/GYN clinicians with whom she worked as a nurse for inspiring her to return to graduate school and become a nurse-midwife. She loves watching people become parents and realize their own strength through the experience, and often thinks about how she felt and wanted to be treated during her own pregnancies when supporting them. Kristen also appreciates the role of midwifery care across the lifespan and enjoys working with people of all ages—from teens through the elderly. She is very interested in helping people during the transition to menopause and enjoys all aspects of gynecologic care, including contraception, sexual health and pelvic pain.

Kristen was raised on a farm in Silverton and all of her family lives within 30 minutes of where she grew up. She is married with two children and three Newfoundland dogs. She and her family love all types of outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing and hunting.
