Provider Bio

Danielle Dion, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN physician and surgeon at Women's Healthcare Associates in Portland, Oregon.

From the Provider

“I want to help each of my patients recognize their strengths and accomplishments in how they’re managing their health. It doesn’t do anyone any good to feel ashamed and powerless. My goal is to help each person recognize what’s going well and to leave with realistic ideas for things they can do to continue making progress—so we can celebrate again the next time I see them!”

About the Provider

Dr. Dion was drawn to obstetrics and gynecology for the unique variety it offers, allowing her to care for women of every age, condition and circumstance, getting to know them and developing trusted partnerships over time. In her practice, she cares for pregnant patients in WHA’s Pathways program; she also spends time each week at Northwest Perinatal Center’s Moderate Risk Clinic caring for pregnancy complications, such as gestational diabetes, hypertension or twins. Dr. Dion frequently helps patients address abnormal bleeding with the goal of maximizing non-surgical management whenever possible. She is passionate about wellness and particularly enjoys the opportunity to have a lasting, positive impact on the health and wellbeing of adolescents and young adults.

Dr. Dion’s passion for wellness includes helping her colleagues through WHA’s Clinician Wellness Committee. Outside of work, she likes to cook and she and her husband enjoy exploring Forest Park with their two kids.
