PORTLAND, OREGON

Northwest Perinatal Center is a referral-based practice, which means most of the time the person who is caring for you during your pregnancy will recommend coming to see us. Whether that person is a WHA OB/GYN physician or nurse-midwife or someone outside of WHA, our goal is to provide you and your obstetric care provider the information you need to best manage your pregnancy. Sometimes that means one visit with us, sometimes that means we get to see you several times or even throughout your pregnancy. Our goal is to help you achieve the very best health outcomes for you and your pregnancy—even when there are complicating factors.

Our Location

We are located on the 2nd floor of the 9701 building in the Peterkort Center to the West of St Vincent’s Hospital.

Getting Here

By car: from US 26, the Barnes Rd exit (69B). Merge onto Baltic Ave. Cross over Barnes Rd and stay to the left toward Peterkort Center. Our building (9555) is the first one on the left side of the parking lot.

From Highway 217, take Barnes Rd exit. Turn right onto Barnes Rd. Turn left at the first signal and stay to the left toward Peterkort Center. Our building (9555) is the first one on the left side of the parking lot.

Using transit: MAX Blue or Red Line to Sunset Transit Center MAX Station (Stop ID 9624 westbound or 9969 eastbound), then Trimet Bus Route 20-Burnside/Stark to Stop ID 233.

Parking

There is free surface parking in front of our building, but it can get full quickly. Your best bet is to use the free parking garage located right next door. There is always parking available in the garage.

Finding Our Office

If you park in the garage, you will have to exit the parking garage, and our building will be located directly next door. If you park in the lot, not the garage, the lot is right out in front of the building.

Insurance

If you’re pregnant and want to begin care at WHA–or need to schedule an appointment during your pregnancy, call us! Find a provider and location here.

Please have your insurance information handy before you begin scheduling.

This will allow our teams to check whether your plan may require a referral for the care you need or to prepare benefits information to share with you at your visit. If you do not enter insurance information when scheduling, you may be asked to pay a $200-$500 deposit before receiving service.
