About the Provider

Mary recognizes that while pregnancy and childbirth are very rewarding experiences, they can also be challenging. One of her goals in working with pregnant patients during this time is to help them discover and build confidence in their deep physical, mental and emotional strength. She also enjoys helping families understand and take ownership of their many choices during these transitions.

Mary has a special interest in working with young people to provide education and guidance as they begin to navigate reproductive healthcare and family planning options. She finds the process of empowering people to understand, appreciate and care for their bodies rewarding.

In her free time, Mary enjoys running and exploring Oregon’s great outdoors with her husband and 3 dogs. She is also an amateur cellist, avid reader and baking enthusiast.

Mary was fantastic?she put me completely at ease and provided a clear plan for follow-up. Thank you for being such a great team! Everyone from Leilani at check in, to Amseh(sp?) being so fantastic with waiting for me and collecting my labs, to Katie rooming me and taking her time making sure my Med list was updated...you are all truly rock stars!

Is there anything else you would like to share about your experience with your provider?

I did not particularly enjoy my experience seeing as that I had to wait 45 minutes before seeing her, with no acknowledgement of the fact that I had to wait so long. She also yawned while I was answering a question, and then presented all the potential negative outcomes of my health condition in a way that could have been handled more delicately. I do admit it had been a long day, so maybe I am biased in my negative interaction, but I do not think I will be returning to this provider.
