From the Provider
“It’s really satisfying to me to be able to help someone solve their problems and move forward. I enjoy knowing that someone is going to have a better day, a better week or a better year because of something we figured out together.”
About the Provider
Kate has been fascinated with women’s reproductive health since she was a child and begged her mom for a baby every day. (She first learned about ovulation when her mom explained why she could only ask once a month.) She has been single-minded in her pursuit of a career in women’s health ever since. Today, she enjoys working and living in the community of Oregon City, developing long-term relationships with her patients and watching their families grow. She enjoys helping women gain the confidence and comfort they need to question medical information and become their own health advocates. She loves caring for women during pregnancy and childbirth and also has special interest in PCOS and adolescent health. Kate has personal experience with infertility and likes being able to help women in her own community begin the process of addressing fertility challenges. She also serves as a preceptor to nurse-midwives in clinical training and teaches a course on PCOS at OHSU.
Kate is married with four children and lists showering among her favorite things to do. When she’s not working or spending time with her family, she devours political news and is active in social media.
