Jody Lindwall, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife at Women's Healthcare Associates in Portland, Oregon.
Jody grew up in Southern California, and attended Yale University for her bachelor's degree in Women's Studies. Jody was drawn to midwifery due to its focus on normalizing the reproductive lifespan of women and placing women and their families at the center of care. Jody completed her nurse-midwifery training in 2002 at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee. After initially working as a nurse midwife in Lowell, Massachusetts, Jody moved to Oregon in 2006 to join Women's Healthcare Associates. Jody is passionate about educating women about their bodies, empowering women to make informed decisions regarding their health and advocating for their right to make those decisions. Jody’s goal as a provider is for women to come away from their pregnancy, birth or gynecologic care understanding the amazing potential their bodies have.
In her spare time, Jody enjoys spending time with her family and her friends doing any activity that brings loved ones together.
