“Every day that I come to work, I get to see women be strong, powerful and courageous. It doesn’t matter if they are is sick, scared, excited, tired or ecstatic; every woman draws from a deep inner well of resilience and determination. Watching them recognize and tap into that power is an amazing thing to witness.”
Christina grew up surrounded by strong women that celebrated and embraced their femininity, which influenced her choice of midwifery—a profession that embodies and advances those ideals. In her practice, she enjoys building connections with women and their families. Her goal is for every woman to be an informed advocate for her own health and looks for opportunities to increase this ability among her patients through education. Christina is particularly interested in group prenatal care and childbirth education and how they might improve outcomes for women.
Christina enjoys cooking with friends and family, as well as yoga, rock climbing, mountain biking and skiing. She and her dog, Leroy, love long walks and hikes.
