Drs. Miles Seeley and Harold Vick Retire

Apr 22, 2011

This month marks the end of two remarkable careers for physicians at Women’s Healthcare Associates. Dr. Seeley, who practices in our Peterkort North office, retires after 33 years. Dr. Vick, who practices in our Tualatin office, retires after 34 years. Both were in private practice in Portland for their entire careers and together delivered more than 7,000 babies.

Dr. Seeley began his career at West Hills Women’s Clinic near Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. In 1991 he proposed that the practice join together with three others to become Women’s Healthcare Associates, PC. He went on to become the first president of the new partnership. Dr. Vick began his career by founding the Lake Grove Women’s Clinic in Lake Oswego together with Daniel Schrinsky, MD, who is the Chief Medical Officer of Women’s Healthcare Associates and practices in our Tualatin office. Lake Grove Women’s Clinic was one of the four practices that formed Women’s Healthcare Associates, PC. In addition to his innumerable contributions to the values and culture of Women’s Healthcare Associates, he was instrumental in the early development of advanced laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Seeley will remain in the area, farming, golfing and spending time with his wife and three daughters. Dr. Vick and his wife are moving to Southern California and look forward to traveling and spending time with their two children and five grandchildren.

While they will both be missed tremendously, we thank them for their contributions to Women’s Healthcare Associates and for their dedicated service to women and families over the past three decades.
