About the Provider
Dr. Prescott enjoys the long-term relationships that he develops with his patients, helping them through many of life’s most important events. He has traveled to Guatemala on surgical mission trips and enjoys the satisfaction of being able to relieve suffering and improve a woman’s quality of life.
Dr. Prescott is board-certified in OB/GYN. He has served as president of the Oregon chapter of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and as a clinical instructor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Oregon Health & Science University, as well as chairman of the OB/GYN department and chair of the gynecology peer review committee at Providence Portland Medical Center.
When he’s not at work, Dr. Prescott enjoys fly fishing, golfing and running. He also plays the guitar and fiddle. He and his wife Ruth have two children, now both University of Oregon graduates (finally) and creating their own life stories.
