Carrie Dennison, ANP, is a nurse practitioner specializing in women's health at Northwest Gynecology Center in Tualatin, Oregon.
From the Provider
“I see a lot of women who feel out of control or overwhelmed by the health or life issue they’re going through—whether they’re experiencing a normal part of how our bodies change over time or a more complex gynecological issue. It’s very rewarding to sense their relief when I am able to help them feel okay about what’s happening or put them on track to get the care they need to resolve the issue.”
About the Provider
Carrie has devoted her career to the care and support of women of all ages. She loves working with women and encourages her patients to create the healthiest lifestyle they can for themselves—whatever phase of life they’re in. She strives to help patients understand what’s normal and what’s not—and all the different forms being healthy can take that they maybe hadn’t considered. She enjoys working with women of all ages, from adolescents through women considering their options around fertility and family planning, to women in peri- or post-menopause. She helps patients address a wide variety of gynecologic conditions, such as vulvar problems, abnormal bleeding, breast issues and incontinence. Carrie is also knowledgeable about many alternative health practices and is supportive of her patients who choose to use them.
In her spare time, Carrie “likes making things and raising things,” from cooking, canning, knitting, sewing and crafts—to raising chickens, bees, vegetables and flowers. She also loves hiking, skiing and just being outdoors.
