Dr. Nielsen graduated from the University of Utah for both his undergraduate and medical degree. He completed his residency at Tulane University in New Orleans. He has been in private practice in Oregon since 1982 and prides himself on delivering "only cute babies."
Dr. Nielsen enjoys climbing mountains and feels altitude helps his attitude. He and his wife have four daughters, two sons and 10 grandchildren.
