As part of a military family, Anna spent time in Germany and all over the United States as a child. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Reed College. She went on to obtain her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in nursing from Oregon Health & Science University. While working as a nurse practitioner in oncology, Anna realized that attending to the mental health needs of patients was her passion. She returned to OHSU for her Post-Master’s Certificate in Pyschiatric Mental Health Nursing.
Anna appreciates the opportunity to meet patients and their families and assist them during challenging periods in their lives. Her clinical interests include working with women of all ages to treat depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. When she’s not working, Anna is an avid reader and enjoys scuba diving, movies and long walks with her family and dog, Wally.
